Our lives are filled with reading, but it’s not always the right sort of thing. We read headlines – that are often biased and regale tales of terror; we read magazines – which are punctuated with body shaming language; we read advertisements – which play on our insecurities. In short, the things that we read don’t necessarily benefit us and often push us to continue feeling shitty about ourselves. Today, choose something to read that will benefit you. Whether that’s a book that you’ve been meaning to delve into, an informative thesis or feel-good blog.
Top tip – make it a daily routine to read something positive at some point in your day.
